FAQs
1. When is the best time to visit Kenya?
The dry seasons, from January to February and June to October, are ideal for a safari and general travel. The long rains occur from March to May, while the short rains fall from November to December. The famous Great Wildebeest Migration in the Maasai Mara occurs between July and October.
2. Can you create a custom safari itinerary for me?
Yes, absolutely. In addition to our pre-packaged tours, we specialize in creating personalized safari experiences based on your interests, budget, and schedule.
3. How far in advance should I book my trip?
It is best to book your safari at least 6 to 12 months in advance, especially if you are traveling during the peak season (July to October). This ensures availability for popular lodges and secures your spot for major events like the Great Migration.
4. What is included in your safari packages?
The inclusions vary depending on the package, but most safaris cover accommodation, transport in a safari vehicle, game drives, and park entrance fees. We will provide a detailed itinerary with a list of inclusions and exclusions for your specific tour.
5. What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy is tiered based on the time before the tour begins. Typically, a cancellation made well in advance offers a higher refund percentage. Please refer to our detailed Terms and Conditions or contact us for specifics related to your booking.
6. How can I pay for my tour?
We offer several convenient payment methods, including major credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard), bank transfers, and secure online payment platforms like PayPal. Park entrance fees must be paid through the official government eCitizen platform.
7. Will I be guaranteed to see the "Big Five"?
While Kenya is home to the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo), we cannot guarantee sightings of specific animals. However, your expert guide will do their best to track and find them, and sightings are very likely in many of the top parks.
